Jane Scott

Capacity Development Coordinator, Resourcing Inclusive Communities
Jane Scott

Jane has lived and advocated alongside her peers through mainstream education, university, open employment, and community roles. She is passionate about expanding and promoting opportunities beyond those typically available to people with disabilities.

Jane lives with developmental disability and brings a lifetime of experience creating an included life. With experience as an NDIS participant, Jane is working towards a world where people with disability participate in all aspects of society, and their inclusion is as commonplace as the inclusion of people with brown eyes. She is excited to be doing that as part of the Inclusive Lives: Possibility to Reality project.

Jane holds a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language, which further informs her understanding of communication and inclusion. In addition to her role, she is the founder of a blog dedicated to addressing social and political issues through the lens of lived experience. With a focus on accessibility and inclusivity, Rolling Through offers thought-provoking articles and resources that resonate with a diverse audience.
